Where there is need there is provision.
Jehovah Jireh - God YOUR provider.
And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called the name of that place, "The Lord will provide"; as it is said to this day, "On the mount of the Lord it shall be provided." (Genesis 22:13, 14 ESV)
As Abraham lifted his eyes from the empty alter he saw his provision already waiting. God didn't just help Abraham to catch a ram for the alter he held one in the thicket ready for him to take. The provision was there waiting for Abraham's eyes to look up and see it.
God knows the end from the beginning. All he asks is that you lift your eyes from your lack and focus on your abundance - HIM! As we focus on Jesus everything will fall into place.

Today's daily Bible reading.
Read this this morning and felt encouraged. I hope you do to.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
– Romans 12:1 (NIV)
Today’s commentary
by Dave Whitehead, Senior Pastor, GraceNYC.org
Christianity is unlike other religions. Other religions say, “You obey, then you are accepted.” Christianity says, “You are accepted, therefore you can obey.” Our acts of worship are a response to God’s mercy, not to get God’s mercy. So rejoice today, and realize that you are already accepted through the work of the cross. Now you can live a life that is holy and pleasing to God.
