We seek to capture imagery with purpose, aesthetics and emotion. But in turn are faced with hurdles we must overcome in the pursuit of our impossible image. Never satisfied, we must pursue a higher level of storytelling; staring fear in the eyes as we walk by into the unknown, into the impossible.
Artist and photographer Richard Mosse reveals the stories behind the making of his latest film, 'The Enclave' (2013), in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which will be shown in the Irish Pavilion at this year’s 55th Venice Biennale.
